Modern, multi-functional cribs and beds

I'm fascinated by these modern, multi-functional bed and crib systems for kids. I'm really attracted to the design (but sadly, cannot afford the price tags). Modern Mini has the Paza Design Toddler Bed on sale for $750 (yeah, still expensive, but beats the regular price of $1,150 if you've been keeping your eye on it). The toddler bed, which has built-in railings, can be converted to a regular twin just by adding another module at the end. 3 drawer units beneath the bed provide lots of storage, which is always good.

The Tati Superbed Convertible Crib has a built in changing table with drawers attached to the side which might be a great space saver for those limited with room in the nursery. The whimsical design has actual feet-shaped legs and a face with a towel/blanket bar as a mouth. But the really great thing about this piece of furniture is its transforming powers. When your toddler is ready to move on, the crib converts to a toddler bed and the changing table detaches to convert into a desk (see below). Wow! Check out another variation of the Tati Superbed.

Here's another transforming crib system, but with a different design to the crib bars.

The Tati Oibo Crib and Changing Table has unique front lateral guards that flap down for easier access to your baby. And before you start thinking how a climbing baby can easily fall through those big gaps in the design, they'll be protected by the transparent, highly resistant methacrylate panels which also provides them with a more unobstructed view. But wait! This bed also converts to a toddler bed and desk (see diagram below), and the flip down panels? They become 2 shelves! Genius!

The Paza and Tati beds are all exclusive at Modern Mini
