Nurseryworks rocker

I know that the Nurseryworks Rocker isn't new anymore, but I'm posting it anyway because I've scrimped and saved to finally buy one. Why spend $750 on a rocker? Good quality gliders aren't really all that much cheaper (and can be even more money), but I haven't met a glider that I've liked and we were looking to buy a chair for the living room anyway which would cost around the same. I've never been very attracted to some of the other modern rockers out there like the Eames Armshell Rocker. The Nurseryworks Rocker looks like a modern armchair, but with a rocker base instead of legs and the chair is wide enough for a parent and child to sit side-by-side. Yup, I'm pretty excited, partly because we won't have to fight over room on the couch anymore, our sole seating option at this point.
Sparkability will ship it to you for free and in 1 to 2 weeks, but Zac and Zoe has better, more accurate swatches.

Did you get this chair yet? Do you actually like it? I was of the "all gliders are lame I'm going to get a cool rocker" camp until I actually sat in this chair. You can not use the arm rests unless you have bizarrely long arms. I'm 5'9" and my elbows were nowhere near the armrests. Thank god I didn't spend my first 6 weeks attempting to nurse in that hip montrosity. Turns out there is a reason people actually buy those ugly gliders--they are comfortable for nursing!

I did get it! And we do like! It's sitting in our living room as an arm chair. But I'm not nursing in it, so I can't say how it is for nursing. But I nursed my baby on our couch for 16 months without arm rests either so I'm not expecting it to be too much of a problem. I know what you mean about the armrests, however, I like how wide the chair is because my toddler and I can sit in it side by side and read books. It's become part of our night time routine. Plus she loves climbing in the chair herself. The chair rocks a little too much forward but I put felt stoppers on the rocker part so that it doesn't tip forward as much and it did the trick.
