Orbit

orbit1.jpg

I don't really have stroller envy (I push a boring Maclaren myself, mostly because it's lightweight), but I have to admit, I love the design of the Orbit Infant System. I love the handles on the carseat (because they don't look as bulky as the Graco ones!) and how there are cutouts on the side so you can see your baby. I love that the carseat attaches to the stroller base from any angle and that it rotates a full 360 degrees on what they call the SmartHub. I love that the handles are adjustable to accommodate different heights. Okay, I guess I am having a bit of stroller envy right now.

So what happens when the baby gets a little older and outgrows the carseat? I was trying to figure that out myself, but the website is very mysterious and doesn't give you much info except for a bunch of slick, sexy pictures. I've heard rumors that it's in the price range of the Bugaboo (ugh), so there has to be a way the Infant System transforms to a regular stroller, right? Right?

Designed by former IDEO designers. Well, no wonder it looks good.

You should look at Phil & Ted's tandem stroller--it's nothing like other double strollers. Amazing find for anyone who has more than one little person.

Yes, the Phil and Teds are all over Brooklyn where I live. They are pretty cool.
