Arctic Expedition Adventure Kit

ak40136xl.jpg

I'm always on the lookout for unusual wooden toys and I love this Arctic Expedition Kit. An Inuit family, sled dogs, sleds, polar bears, seals and walrus all fit inside the velcro-closure Igloo for handy storage. Made of plantation grown wood from rubber trees, this toy is great for imaginative play and an alternative to the usual mainstream pretend-play family sets out there.

The Arctic kit looks like one made by SRI Toys in Sri Lanka. I have one of their farm play sets and it's pretty cool.
