New Maclarens for 2006

A friend of mine just let me know that the new Maclarens are out on their website and since I've been waffling on whether to get a Volo for 6 indecisive months, I went to take a look. The new colors are pretty great and I think the Volo in Saffron might make the decision for me (I'm pretty much a sucker for anything orange).

But wait, there's more! Other than introducing some pretty horrid patterns to the Quest line of strollers, there are a few notable additions to the 2006 special collections. Yeah, they got Kate Spade (yawn), Burberry (double yawn) and Lulu Guinness strollers (eh), but leather?? And in black no less! I don't know, not really feeling it - not loving black leather for babies I guess. It would make me feel like I was pushing my dad's old Lincoln Towncar.

But I am digging the Phillip Starck collection, especially the stroller and the travel cot. Really really nice design on the cot and I'm very curious about that stroller (yup, there's that orange again). Too bad it doesn't tell you a thing about it on the site, except some "poetic" garble by the man himself.
