Year of the dog birth year box

I'm not one to scrapbook and I wasn't particularly good at keeping a baby book up to date, so I didn't think a keepsake box would really appeal to me, but I must say, there's something nice about this 2006 Birth Year Box. Maybe it's because I keep my baby's coming home outfit in a crappy little fabric pouch that I keep meaning to transfer to something a little nicer and more permanent...like this box! It's not very big as it only measures less than 7 inches square, but big enough to fit a tiny outfit, a few cards and a letter that I wrote to my baby 1 week post partum in a bout of hormonally induced sappiness. I was lamenting how fast she was growing at 1 week - ha! Had I had the foresight to see myself almost 2 years later, I would have laughed at myself.
