Tooth Fairy Pillow

pptoothfairy300.jpg

My mom didn't grow up in this country so she had no idea what the tooth fairy was. Of course I didn't know that and was profoundly disappointed in seeing my tooth still under the pillow morning after morning instead of the shiny coins that were supposed to be in its place. After the 5th morning, I looked under the pillow and the tooth wasn't there...but neither was any money. So I looked around and saw that it had sadly fallen off the bed. I grabbed it, marched up to my mom, held the tooth up and quite flustered asked, "Don't you know about the tooth fairy?!?!".

The next morning I found 2 gleaming quarters under my pillow.

I don't know how much the tooth fairy leaves kids these days, but judging from the picture, it doesn't look like it's loose change anymore. And maybe it's quite silly to get a little pillow for your kid's first tooth, but man, I would have been so thrilled if I had one of these back then to nestle my tooth in.

tooth fairy still leaves my daughter quarters, cause her mom's nostalgic. But grandpa makes up for it and gives her between $1 and 5 whenever he's seen she's lost a tooth.

While the idea of a tooth pillow is a great one, that particular pillow is terrifying me!

Yes, it's true, the tooth is kinda scary with the red mouth, but that's why I kind of like it - it's pretty funny.
