Asthma Friendly Stuffed Dogs

12417-v.jpg

When I was in Kindergarten I had a friend who was highly allergic to stuffed animals. She still had them, but they were all double bagged in plastic. I remember her collection of bagged animals in her room and sometimes she'd have one with her at the playground. I never really thought anything of it until I was a little older - funny how sometimes kids just accept things as they are.

This is the first stuffed animal that I've come across that is supposedly asthma and allergy friendly. It's made of a material that keeps dust mites and other allergens at low levels and can withstand mulitple washings and freezing. Anyone know what freezing the stuffed animals are supposed to do?

Hey there,
freezing kills off any dust mites. Works on other stuffed toys - that's where those plastic bags come in handy again.
