Crib Spacer

leachco_1892_4431256.jpg

The Crib Spacer is a simple little contraption that straps onto crib bars to divide the bed if you have twins or to make the crib a little bit cozier for your singleton. I think it's a pretty nice solution for multiples if you don't want to deal with 2 cribs in the room for the first few months. From the way it attaches, it doesn't look like you can use bumpers with it, as the photo suggests, unless I'm missing something. But weren't crib bumpers deemed unnecessary and a SIDS risk anyway?

I think you can weave the bumpers out where the Crib Spacer attaches to make things work out.

From what I read, crib bumpers are more of a danger for young escape artists who use it as a stepping ladder to climb out of the crib. I guess they can use the Crib Spacer instead. :P
