Gogo Kiz Urban Advantage Stroller

Gogo Babyz, makers of the Gogo Kidz Travel Mate have come out with a stroller for 2006 - the first three-wheeled stroller that automatically lowers and raises a brake-activated kickstand when the rear brake bar is pressed and released - yup, that's that funny looking thing sticking out of the front of the stroller. Apparently, three-wheeled strollers have the tendency to become unstable and tip over, according to the Gogo Babyz website (is this true?? Is it kind of like the annoying back-tipping tendencies that Maclarens have when you load the back of the stroller with too many bags?).
Other features include: one-hand folding system (I never found strollers making that claim to be really one-handed), 4-position reclining seat, a decent storage basket, and the ability to attach a car seat so that the stroller can be used from birth.
It weighs a hefty 27 pounds, but I'd be curious to give it a test run. Now that I live in an apt with an elevator, I've been entertaining the idea of getting an alternate stroller to replace my everyday Maclaren Quest. Back when I was living in a walkup, my choices were limited to anything lightweight since I had to lug the whole thing up 2 flights of stairs. The Quest has served us fine, but it's useless in the snow and the maneuverability leaves a little to be desired, especially on the bumpy sidewalks of my Brooklyn neighborhood.
The Urban Advantage retails for $189.

Hmmm. We have a Phil & Tedd's e3, and before that, a Zooper (um, forget exact model; what kind of gearhead am I?) and neither of those ever had a problem with tipping. And our child is pretty much a monkey, so it's not for lack of trying.

We have happily used this stroller for our now almost-two year old daughter since she could sit upright in it. We've had several different brands of strollers in the past and this is by far the best, hands down, that we have used. I purchased it because I really loved the Kolcraft universal car seat carrier and this shares many of the same convenient features. The storage area below is excellent, as are the child and parent trays. Because we live in a really hot, sunny area, had to get a Protect-a-Bub shade and a detachable fan. It has been and continues to be a joy to use!
