Maternity Massage Table

prenatal.jpg
Nothing, let me repeat, nothing is more necessary or appreciated, especially during pregnancy, than the luxurious indulgence of receiving a 60-90 minute massage from expertly trained hands. Even better: getting some prenatal pampering on a maternity massage table like this one from Custom Craftworks. Not that you have to go out and invest in one, but with the requisite hole-in-the-middle-where-the-belly-goes design and additional breast recesses, it's good to know this table exists since it makes it a cinch to get an appropriate rub while lying face down (a virtual impossiblity on regular massage tables where you just have to lie sideways, holding on to the bottom of your bulging belly while kind of sitting up on your elbow and trying to relax all at the same time). What I also like is that it comes with foam inserts to fill the belly/breast openings that convert it into a regular flat table. Seems like a no-brainer must-buy for all enlightened massage therapists.

I tried it at http://www.axelsonsspa.se/ a couple of weeks ago. Like a dream! Wonderful to be able to lie down on my belly again!
