Rody Pony

bigger.jpg

Saddle up partner; this is one lively pony ride. I saw this in the window of a toy store in Fredericksburg, Texas this weekend and did not realize it was a classic toy until I was chatting it up with the owner. I thought for sure I had stumbled on a new, modern take on the rocking horse. Aside from being a cool hippity hop ride-on horse I later read about how therapists use the horse for vestibular stimulation (going to have to look that word up) which is the foundation for developing skills such as language, memory, jumping, and running. The Rody is for any young child who likes to giddyap around the house on their make-believe steed. The parent friendly feature I like best is the fact that you can keep inflating the Rody as your child grows. Rody is latex free and rated to 400 pounds...so much for the age limit!

Recommended for 2 to 4- year olds. Maximum inflated height to saddle is 12". Select from seven great colors; pink, yellow, red, blue, teal, orange, and green.

You can also order the handy base so baby can get started riding without the worry of tipping.
