Bamboo & Organic Cotton Baby Robe

object_utils.jpg

Ironically enough I had been surfing a bamboo furniture site the other day and was surprised to read that there is clothing actually being made out of very fine bamboo fibers. I had heard of hemp being used, but never bamboo. I saw nifty t-shirts and things for adults, but nothing for children at that particular site. Today, over at vivaterra, I discovered they too have bamboo fibers mixed with cotton, in beautifully made bathrobes for children. The product is silky smooth and, they say, very absorbent, which is perfect for little naked buns everywhere. The product is also all organic (always a plus for the planet). I ordered a few items from vivaterra for myself and they made a donation to plant a tree as a thank you.

The robe comes in 6-12 month size and 18-24 months. Check out the organic cotton crib sheets while you are there too. These adorable robes are currently on sale at 50% off.
