Destop PC by the Learning Journey

p7877B.jpg

I don't know about your toddler, but my toddler isn't fooled by any of those toy gadgets that are supposed to make them feel like they have their own cell phone or computer (nor was she fooled when she was a younger baby, for that matter). Kids will play with them for sure, but they know that they're toys and not the real thing, which is why they'll still go after your cell phone and try to play with computer mice and keyboards (which she always tries to do).

So I would consider spending $50 on the Desktop PC because it does look realistic and functional - the keyboard is a real QWERTY keyboard and the mouse works just like a mouse. The LCD screen is pretty crude, but what can you expect for $50 bucks? The PC comes preprogrammed with 30 activities, in case you were wondering, but my kid would probably rather bang on the keyboard for now. I don't know if that would stop her from touching my laptop completely (nah), but at least I could redirect her to her "own" computer.
