Wall straps by Droog Design

Droog Design makes these straps out of silicon rubber to secure stuff up against a wall. Think soft toys, towels, books, crying baby (just KIDDING!). These ingenious holding devices remind me of magnetic strips, although magnetic strips are meant to hold completely different things altogether and are, in and of themselves, completely different, period. Let's just get back to these straps. How do they work, you may be asking yourself? Well, the further apart the two end screws are fastened, the more tension on the strap, and the tighter the hold.
