ducduc dining table

If I had an extra, oh 10k, to spend on furniture, I'd really consider the new ducduc dining room table. It would be the centerpiece of our living space (we have an open kitchen, dining, living room) and we'd use it for everything - dining, working, entertaining, and arts and crafts. What's so nice about this table is its versatility and functionality. The table top features sliding panels that reveal storage space for tableware or art supplies, and the dual panel surfaces of walnut and whiteboard are interchangeable. The bench offers even more storage, and booster seat and highchair attachments for the bench integrate right into the design, resulting in a complete, visually cohesive dining system for your family. A nice added touch is that the panels slide out to meet your kids so that they can be close to the table while maintaining a comfortable distance for the adults.

Of course your home would have to have a certain look to carry this contemporary design (can't really imagine this table in a pre-war, originally restored, turn of the century brownstone, for example) and I suppose it would look best if the rest of your furniture and decor was mid-century modern or equivalent (our place is currently a mish-mash of styles). So I guess I would really need more like 15-20k to really pull this table off. Ah well, sure is a nice table though.
