Preserve Toothbrush

preservetb-v3.jpg

I don't know what it is about the way toddlers brush their teeth, but ours goes through toothbrushes faster than us - just about every month it needs replacing because the bristles are so trashed. I just discovered Preserve Toothbrushes which can be found at your nearby Whole Foods and Trader Joes. Preserve Jr. is their line of kids' toothbrushes with softer bristles which are available at select Target stores.

The toothbrush handle is made of polypropylene which is a recycled material that is highly durable and flexible. The main recycled material source of the Preserve toothbrush comes from Stonyfield FarmŽ yogurt cups, which I think is pretty cool since we go through plenty of those in our house too. When you're ready to replace the toothbrush, Preserve actually includes a postage-paid envelope to assure that your toothbrush will be recyled. This makes it a no-brainer to be eco-minded, so no excuse there!
