The Baby Keyboard

8700_dv_1.jpg

I’ve brought home many toddler software programs for my kids over the years, which for the most part were a positive learning experience for them. The difficulty had always been in getting my little ones to properly manipulate the keyboard. There were always too many buttons to muck with and I had to watch over each move very carefully so that they did not shut down the game. I am impressed with the Baby Keyboard which boasts giant finger-friendly buttons that young children can easily manipulate without causing frustration. There is enough time for computer induced aggravation when they are older!

I waver on this one. My son and I will look up "funny videos" (Coke bottles exploding from mentos dropping inside) but I have been loath to introduce him to the computer.

I don't know if I fear the onslaught of video games in his future or I just don't want to share.

My toddler loves to hammer my keyboard. I think he'll love the experience!

Looks nice and all, but looks like it just presses through to keys on your real keyboard -- which is nice as long as the software you're using only uses those keys. In most cases, that'll limit you to the software they ship, and who knows how good/interesting that is....
