Walking Wings walking support

The Walking Wings walking support is one of those contraptions I don't really get. It's supposed to help your baby learn how to walk while reducing backstrain and worries about injuries from falls. I don't know about all that, but from what I remember, the process of learning how to walk pretty much happened organically and naturally without much attempt on our part. In fact, our kid took her first unassisted steps on New Year's Day last year - a milestone that I have to admit I was too tired and lazy to witness. I was resting on the bed in our bedroom when all of a sudden I hear some commotion and clapping in the other room with frantic cries of "you gotta come out here, she's walking!". I was so tired that I waved my hand and managed a "that's great" before falling back asleep. Ah, well.
