Doidy cups

The U.K.'s Doidy cups are meant to teach your child to drink from a rim and wean him/her from the bottle as early as 4 months (and with mom's help, they claim, newborns can drink from this). Anyway, the Doidy is designed as a cup on a slant which prevents spills and allows drinking without having to tilt the head backwards or forwards. Also, the design helps with putting the cup down easily, which is always hard for little ones. I personally like sippy cups because they are spill-proof but I'd use this when introducing sippy cups and at home or anywhere I could help them with it. I do think it looks like an interesting cup to have, (I like that babes are able to look inside and see what they're drinking, they love to do that, don't they?) and the slant design supposedly allows for sucking action that's more similar to the sucking babies do when feeding on the breast or via bottle. Healthwise, the Doidy helps prevent delayed weaning and various problems caused by prolonged use of spouted cups. They also come in ten different colors and seem perfect for toddlers, especially for when they want to bang cups together and yell, Cheers! over and over and over again.
