Sleeping Bean Body Pillow

babyleansm.jpg

I know co-sleeping isn't for everybody and we don't do it that often since the toddler is a pretty good sleeper, but there are times when I'm just too lazy to deal with overnight wakings so I just bring the kid to bed with me. When she was a newborn, it was the only way I could get some sleep: wake, feed, doze, turn over and do it again 2 hours later.

And for this reason, I like the idea of the Sleeping Bean Body Pillow. 3 thick layers of 100% organic cotton makes for a comfy, absorbent sleeping surface with built in bolster so that the baby won't roll off the bed. Probably a lot safer than the pile of pillows I use to prop. And another great idea? Use the Sleeping Bean instead of bed rails for your toddler when he/she moves to a big bed. I hate the idea of bed rails (don't ask) and so I'm gonna take my chances and see what happens (I'll put an air mattress underneath the first weeks) but I would't mind using the Sleeping Bean to keep her from rolling off.
