Cassandra Crib

The Cassandra is one of the many pieces of furniture in the Miguel line that truly takes my breath away. This crib is billed as hip, plush and progressive. What it is is beautifully designed: the locking mechanism that is encased entirely in the top rail for a seamless look, the fact that it’s covered in Crypton fabric (twill, velese or suede!) making it stain, bacteria and odor resistant, and it’s curvaceous lines- no hard edges here. Another plus, it converts into a toddler and youth bed for long-term use. Yes, the pieces in the Miguel line are very pricey, the Cassandra being no exception- they are, after all, handmade in Italy. But just consider for a moment ordering one in soft purple suede for a completely gorgeous, almost artful, sleeping experience for baby.
