Denyse Schmidt crib blanket

333DENrugbym.jpg
I have long admired the work of Denyse Schmidt, a former graphic designer and graduate of RISD who started her own quilting company after working as a professional seamstress on a multitude of projects. Her rich color sense is just so imaginative and the quality of her blankets and throws showcase her fine craftsmanship. Recently, I stumbled on this cotton crib blanket and am so taken with the rugby stripes in tan and red with a turquoise solid backing. I had no idea she made crib blankets and am thrilled she does, and in cotton no less. This particular blanket is machine quilted in Connecticut, measures 40” x 50” and can be found at Kid O. Feels like it's all you'd need.
