KidzMouse Keys

kidzmousekeys.jpg

If you dread sharing your keyboard with your kids and want to get them their own kid friendly version, this one from HunnyPod is a nice choice. The keyboard is a fully functional QWERTY keyboard, but is simplflied to 67 keys as opposed to the 104 keys on a standard keyboard. The size is scaled down overall, but the keys are still standard size, just rounded for smaller hands.

And if you so desire, you can get a version with SpongeBob graphics as well as a SpongeBob mouse. I mention this because I don't get the appeal of SpongeBob at all (I know I'm not a kid and maybe that's all it takes) but I innocently bought my kid a small SpongeBob bubble wand, only because it was the only one that came in the spillproof bottle at the store we were in. Little did I know it would set off an interest in all things SpongeBob (or SpitzBob as she calls him). She's never seen an episode, yet it's almost impossible to escape any cartoon personality due to character licensing on everything, grrrr!

$35 at HunnyPod.
