WubbaNub Soothie Pacifiers

wubbahrs5.jpg

The first time I saw a baby bottle encapsulated in a stuffed animal I remember thinking, wow, now there’s a great combination of items that could work to occupy a young child for a moment or two. Same idea with the WubbaNub; a cute stuffed animal placed conveniently at the end of a pacifier. Easy to hang on to, cute to look at, and soothing to baby. The bright colored animal offers a pleasant distraction if the pacifier is not quite the comfort your little one is craving. I won’t make any claims as to how long it will hold their attention, but hey, another minute or two is a precious amount of time for a parent trying to get through the day.

My daughter had the WubbaNub duckie as an infant and she did seem to enjoy holding onto it. It was the one pacifier we could always find because it was too big to slip through the cracks.

Keeping it sterile was a bit tricky. It involved suspending the poor duckie by its feet over boiling water. All in all, it was very cute and handy to have.
