babyGap skinny pants

So apparently 80s fashions are back this fall - leggings, wide belts and skinny pants after all those years of low rise boot cuts. Given my present condition (29 wks pregnant and many more months of post partum body weirdness) I'm not gonna be squeezing myself into skinny jeans anytime soon, if ever. And I hear most women are horrified by the fact that they're back in fashion since they only look good on about 3% of the population - basically the models in the ads and catalogues who model them. I also find it particularly amusing when trends trickle down to baby and toddler clothes...and so...here they are... babyGap skinny 4-pocket twill pants in black.

I saw them right away when browsing the Gap site (on a Mac in Firefox of course! So annoying that the whole Gap family of stores isn't Mac friendly) since pretty much all of their pants have also been flares and boot cuts for years. I have to admit, I like them and think that toddlers are the only other body types that can pull them off. I can see my kid wearing these with a striped shirt and puma suede sneakers and that temporary tattoo that she has on her upper arm that gave my mom a heart attack when she saw it.

this is hilarious! i can't picture it on a kid though. i'll have to keep my eye out for babyGap ads.

Actually, have you updated your version of Firefox recently? I used to have problems with Gap stores on Firefox (on my G4 powerbook) until I upgraded my browser. Now all Gap-family websites work fine.
