Crosby Bunk Bed

I've looked at a lot of kids' beds over the last few months. It was surprisingly hard to find something I liked and when I did find something, the pricetag didn't always match my budget, of course. Although I wasn't looking for a bunkbed, this one is really cool (but with a hefty price of $2150). It has everything I was looking for - nice, clean design, with lots of storage options - either a trundle or 2 drawers underneath the bottom bunk, and up to 5 storage cubbies on either side. With all this storage, it's possible to make this the only piece of furniture in your kids' room - which is an idea I like for lots of floorspace to spread out and play - but won't be able to achieve any time soon since we currently have many little pieces of mismatched furniture as we're transitioning all the baby stuff slowly out of her room. I'm also warming up to the look of laquered white furniture, especially with warmer wood accents or pops of color. I had a hard time deciding between white, really dark wood or very light birch (we went with light birch) but the laquered white, which is VOC free paint, looks really fresh.

See the Crosby bed at Modern Tots.
