Finding your kid is a snap with the Giggle Bug Child Locator

giggle bug.jpg

Once your kids get old enough to be mobile it can get nearly impossible to keep track of them sometimes - you turn away for a moment and they're off and running. Or in the crush of other kids at the playground or in the mall, they become almost invisible and you end up having to dig through piles of kids to find your own, who is of course hiding under the slide and laughing at you. Not that anything like that has ever happened to me. In those situations, it's always good to have a way to find your kids, and the Giggle Bug Child Locator makes this an easy thing. You press your button, and the bug attached to your kid emits an 85-decibel beep and the eyes light up. It will also go off if it's removed from your child or falls off.

At $20 this is a useful gadget, and can help quell that "where is my kid" panic that happens whenever they manage to scamper from your sight. This is also a lot less embarrassing than those leashes you see people put their kids on, both for you and your child. I can think of a lot of secondary uses for this as well: key chains, cats, the television remote, operant conditioning...the possibilities are endless.
