Girl Charlee designs cute clothes from vintage fabrics

GC-CFP-RB.jpg

The fall line at Girl Charlee is here and as usual, the vintage patterns are charming and the craftmanship on these one-of-a-kind outfits is impeccable. Working mom Heather Peterson was inspired by vintage fabrics after she had her own daughter; she hand selects and prewashes all fabrics to ensure integrity. Like a lot of moms, I get the most of my basics for the toddler at Old Navy, BabyGap, etc...but I do like to get a handful of special items every season to mix it up. You'll find such unique clothes on the Girl Charlee website as she carries not ony her own adorable clothing line, but designs from others such as Eliza Gran, Bluebird and Eden's Bouquet (this faux fur evening coat is outrageous by the way. I can't quite imagine putting this on my kid, but I secretly loooove it.)

There are still some summer items left from the Girl Charlee line, as well as from other designers, many of which are on sale so you can stock up for next year. I got these cute vintage denim striped gauchos (the striped ones seem to be sold out) and I was impressed at the craftmanship of the pants. The package arrived in just a few days - very speedy delivery!

As a special offer, Babygadget readers get 15% off all items by entering GADGET15 on the shopping bag page.
