Marimekko

I love this classic Marimekko print - so much so, that I've sadly attempted to fix the broken wooden handles of my beloved Marimekko tote handbag that I've stepped on not once, but twice. What can I say? It makes me happy, so I'm pleased to see the print in other accessories. I would love to put this placemat on our diningroom table for the toddler, for example. She's put enough tiny dents in our table with her constant fork and spoon banging to make me consider vinyl placemats in the first place, but I wouldn't mind eating in the company of this cheerful Marimekko print.

And look! A duvet set if I want to go crazy and decorate with Marimekko everywhere! The print is floral without being too girly and the graphic boldness of the big flowers in shades of red, hot pink and orange is anything but prissy.
