Pro Chef Kitchen set from Pottery Barn Kids

So word on the street is that the whole stainless steel/granite combo for kitchens is on the way out, if it isn't already and that it will look as dated as those avocado green appliances in a few short years. Great. Just when I buy into a place that has this very same combination. So maybe Pottery Barn Kids is late to the trend, but it's the only play kitchen to feature stainless steel that I know of (that isn't plastic - I mean those aren't that convincing anyway), and this stove, island and fridge set is pretty realistic looking. The burners glow when turned on and the fridge lights up when you open it. I don't know why I get excited about that, but I do. But then there's the astronomical price tag that quickly sends me back to reality.
