Sina Pearson fabric

Sometimes, I think I’d love to cover my entire apartment in Crypton super fabric, you know the performance textile that is water, stain and bacteria resistant. Basically, nothing gets through Crypton and based on this premise, I can only daydream of a time when I will no longer be hunched over a nasty, kid-made stain in a feeble attempt to scrub it into oblivion. With Crypton, my reality, I suppose, would be totally different. For kids, I really like the William Wegman Collection (if you and your kids are into dogs..), especially the print called Posey that features a Wegman trademark Weinmeraner in a multitude of poses including what seems like a cheeky downward dog. The collection I’m super excited about, however, is the Good Things Collection by Sina Pearson. The story is that a bunch of seven year olds were enlisted to make drawings to cheer up hospitalized kids. The end result is a print of things kids deem “good” from family to ice cream, pizza and hope. Another good thing: a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this fabric will go to Quilts for Kids. Crypton anyone?
