The Complete Organic Pregnancy

I wish this book had been out when I was pregnant. The Complete Organic Pregnancy is full of information on what to do and buy while pregnant that will keep you and baby safe from toxins, especially invisible ones, and pollutants. In a tone that is non-alarmist and calm, the authors, Deirdre Dolan and Alexandra Zissu, show you what to choose, from the safest laundry detergent to the appropriate face cream, crib mattress, types of fish and more. Sprinkled among the thoroughly researched info are personal diaries and anecdotal essays from known writers and organic lifestyle experts, including Barbara Kingsolver and Marion Nestle, along with yummy recipes from organic chefs. Just the thing to get you inspired and me yearning for baby number 4.

Pre-order the book, out October 1, at Amazon.
