This is a great present for new moms or even as a reminder of what it was like before the belly button ring. The footprints necklace has a reproduction of your child's footprint from their birth certificate in 14k gold or sterling silver, and you can also attach an inscription. I actually think the little gold tag with the inscription is a little much, so I would probably remove it and keep the footprint by itself. You provide the footprint by sending a .jpg, and the resulting picture in the necklace is archival and waterproof; this is a keepsake that will last. You can even provide multiple footprints if you have more than one kid, up to three. A nice touch.
