BroSis Lounge

modernseed_1914_23849631.jpg

I can't decide whether I like this BroSis lounge chair designed by Eric Pfeiffer. From a strictly formal design point of view, I don't love the shape that the dual seat creates, though I can appreciate its simplicity and unbroken, continous line that is created from a single piece of molded plywood. The back to back seating is sort of funny and implies minimal interaction when the kids are actually sitting in the seats. But as the photos (and real life) may suggest, how often are 2 kids going to sit simultaneously quiet in their seats and read a book? (Or it reminds me of a double time out chair if both kids are acting up...hmmmm...intriguing...). Most likely it would be used for play and climbing and other things that kids do on chairs than actually SITTING on them.

Exclusive at Modern Seed and available now in limted quantities.
