Buggy Pod - the clip-on sidecar for your buggy

It seems like an awful lot of brains are turning to the problem of transport options for the two-child (and beyond) family these days. That's great, but it does mean making yet another decision.
Will you go for the Buggy Board (well, only if your older kid is walking)? The double-decker pushchair (and worry about car fumes at the lower level) or a side-by-side option (and struggle getting through doorways)?
Now there's a new generation of lateral thinking going on. Like the Strolli rider, the Buggypod is an add-on option that means you don't have to shell out for a whole new pushchair. It also takes into account that just because your older child is walking, doesn't mean he always wants to.
The Buggypod website shows you how it snaps on to almost any design of stroller (including double buggies, for twins-plus-one families), and - crucially - how it can be folded neatly aside when not in use.
Like many of the most practical inventions for children, it was created by a parent - in this case, a mother of three under-sixes. Visit the Buggypod website for yourself to see testimonials from happy parents.

Stollen from Daddytypes.com shame on you!

Actually, no. Myf, our writer from England had this product in the pipeline for awhile (it's a British company) but we just got around to posting it today. I did check Daddytypes and yes, you're right, it's written about there as well, but do you really think it's unavoidable to write about the same product sometimes? Anyway, thanks for the assumption - the timing is unfortunate/coincidental.

well a wonderful idea, but my boys too big for it.
I've been looking around and it looks like I'm probably going to have to shell out a pretty penny to get something compact that will hold him.

My confidence in Webblogs has been shattered. Next you'll be posting a paragraph about "cranky pants" and telling me it has been in the works for decades, by your Swedish consultant. Hogwash, hogwash I say!

Sorry, that was the truth. We don't have a Swedish consultant. By the way, what are "cranky pants"?

What can I say? I just logged on to see this debate! Buggypod is a British product, and it's all over the British online shops as a new product. And that's where I saw it!

I was just wondering if there's any way to purchase the Buggy Pod in the US or have it shipped here? Do you know of any site I could order it from that will ship to US?

Hi Jodi,
I'm sorry, I don't know. Your best route is normally to contact the manufacturer directly. There's a page here showing international retailers - but no mention of the US, interestingly...
