Cut4Cloth

Cut4Cloth velvety soft dungarees - “with poppers at the waist… nappy changing is a breeze.” Whaaa? For our US readers, this translates into: “It has snaps, so if you use cloth diapers, they’ll be easier to change” as long your child is wearing Cut4Cloth clothes. That’s because these innovative garments are the only ones made specifically for use with cloth diapers –or “nappies” if you prefer.

Cut4Cloth was conceived by cloth-diaper-using parents in Cornwall, England, after a frustrating night of trying to force snaps closed over their son’s nappies. Now I don’t use cloth diapers, but I do use Seventh Generation, which are also bulky. I, too, often have to leave “poppers” undone in order to accommodate my son’s diapers. So I think these are great!

They're also great looking. I’m particularly drawn to the orange trimmed hoody and chocolate dungarees pictured here. Cut4Cloth clothes come in a variety of cool boys and girls clothes, from baby to toddlers, sleep wear to outerwear.

Of course, if the founders are using cloth nappies, you can imagine that the rest of their practices are environmentally/socially sound as well. (Without meaning to be, I seem to be on a “green” kick with my posts lately. What a happy coincidence!) Each article is made from 100% organic cotton and dyed with “friendly” dyes. They also employ ethical practices in their manufacturing. And finally, the snaps are nickel free! I had no idea I should look for nickel free poppers, but there you go.
