Ooba Play Table

ooba_playtable.jpg

Ever since the Ooba bassinet came out, I'd been intrigued by the rocker that sat in a blurry haze in the background of the product shot and keep checking back to see if it's available. Even though I already bought a rocker for the living room last year that I like, this one would look fantastic in my fantasy living room. But judging from the pricetag of the new Ooba crib (pricey is one thing, but this is just unattainable for most folks), it's probably best that it remain unavailable for now.

But I do have to say that I love this new play table conversion kit for the bassinet that's accepting pre-orders right now. $500 dollars is steep for a bassinet or any product that has such a short life-span, but this conversion kit allows you to turn the bassinet into a play table and a toy bin making the prictag a little more palatable. I just love the way the table looks - reminds me of an Eames - and if you had a certain look or decor in your living space, would make a pretty nice coffee table too.
