Spell it out with Accroc
I've just had a fun half-hour clicking through the French Pêpin Le Malin website. Fun partly because of the truly eclectic collection of products on offer (plate made to look like a crepe, anyone? Monster cushions?), and partly because, well, it's all in French, and that adds a certain je ne sais quoi to anything, doesn't it?
Here's the product that caught my eye, though: Accroc hooks. Ach, I'm a sucker for lettering. The idea? Spell out whatever you want, and use it how you please (for coats, hats, towels.. 'limited only by your imagination', apparently). All 26 letters are on offer (though not, it seems, accented letters - wonder what the French think of that), plus the numbers 0 - 9 and a few symbols.
The obvious thing to do would be to spell out your little darling's name, or perhaps have an initialed towel-hook for each member of the family. Me, I'd love to go for a run of 0 - 9 across my daughter's wall: she's quite obsessed by numbers just now. But at 17 Euros (about £11.45 or $ 21.26 ) per letter, that sort of thinking gets expensive.
Anyway, as far as I can work out, they currently deliver only to France. There again, that's relying on my school-girl French, so if you love love love these, it might be worth exploring for yourself.
