Tadpole by iFrogz
I can still vividly recall holding my newborn at the hospital. He was pink, smooth-skinned, made the cutest noises and even his poop smelled “sweet” (I swear!). My little guy was just about perfect. Now at about a month old, he's become gassy, fussy, drooly, has baby acne, and what the heck is "cradle cap"?! I'm not saying I love him any less, but.... Do you remember when you discovered those first scratches on your brand new shiny iPod? "Noooooo! Why, God, why?!" Yeah, it's kinda like that, but a gazillion times more. And as far as I can tell, they don't make protective cases for babies. Do they?
But you can still protect your precious iPod (especially when they are being handled by the little clumsy, sticky hands of your other precious possession). Tadpole is an iPod case specifically designed to be used by kids. What makes them stand out from the thousands of other iPod cases is the “comfort grip handles” which are the 2 ears on either side that make them look like a steering wheel (because apparently kids need 2 handles for everything). And with the 100% silicone case and the iFrogz Screenz (a transparent plastic overlay for the front), your iPod will be “kid proof” (manufacturer’s claim, NOT ours). Surely, they underestimate the creative destructive powers of little boys. They also say that you can still use the click-wheel with the iFrogz Screenz in place. I can see how the “click” part would work fine, but does it still “scroll”? Nonetheless, it does look like a fun design that’ll add way more protection than handing your child a naked iPod. It won’t be available to ship until Nov. 1st, but you can pre-order for $19.99. Now, if they had only added some built-in speakers to the case. Is it just me or is there’s something about little kids wearing earphones that just doesn’t seem right?

I agree about the earphones! I will buy this product happily if it comes with a small speaker... My ipod with Shaun the Sheep shorts has helped my 18 months old son sit nicely while potty training!
