Teach your kids chopstick technique with the Combi Trainers

chopsticks.gif

Getting started using chopsticks can be quite the intimidating experience, especially for children. While we may take for granted training children to use a knife and a fork, using chopsticks takes a little bit more manual dexterity, so children may need more help to become comfortable using them. The Combi Chopsticks are a great tool to get children started on chopsticks, and to get them interested in trying different kinds of food.

This is a pretty clever design, using three steps to teach your children chopstick technique. First you use the training bridge to teach the child how to hold the chopsticks in their hand correctly, then you remove the bridge so they can manipulate the chopsticks themselves, and after you remove yellow piece for step three they'll be using the chopsticks by themselves. This can be a fun project for your kid to go through, or even yourself. I can barely pick up anything with chopsticks; and stick to egg rolls in my embarrassment.
