The Black Apple Paper Dolls

paperdollD280.jpg

Seeing these groovy paper dolls really brought me back to my childhood. One of my favorite activities was making paper dolls, not unlike these, and creating endless outfits. It became almost obsessive and something that carried over to high school when I did actually study fashion design and clothing construction. I really really wish I still had those dolls since it would be hilarious to see what late 70s/early 80s wardrobes I designed when I was a kid.

This charming set of 3 dolls come with interchangeable, hip outfits detailed with retro prints and fun accessories (actually they remind me of early 90s Riot Grrrls). They come with the standard foldover tabs and require adult supervision for cutting.

At Mahar DryGoods.
