Tokyo and my Daughter

takashicover.jpg
I just received this book in the mail from Nieves. I'm so taken by it- the shots of Tokyo interspersed with sweet photos of a growing girl. What's even more poignant is the fact that the book was put together by her father, the photographer Takashi Homma. There is something so gently evocative and soothing about the big city dimensions mixed in with the cozy images of a little girl experiencing her familiar surroundings. Macro to micro and back all over again.

Find Tokyo and my Daughter at Nieves.
