Animal cups

Here is my Fall fantasy-- I wake up before everyone else in the house. It’s still dark out, nippy and inside, the house is all warm with sleep. I bake a batch of orange muffins for breakfast and set a table with fresh flowers from dinner the night before and these delightful animal cups from Isak. (They make me think of mini café au lait bowls or asian tea cups). My kids slowly, quietly, stumble out of bed and to the table for some hot chocolate and breakfast cakes. Reality-- this is not going to happen any time soon! But I’m still loving these cups with the gorgeous animal designs in a perfect mix of greens, blues, pinks and reds. And I remain committed to the possibility of having at least ONE eventual, calm, civilized breakfast with the kids.
