Back to the Seventies with Katvig

katvig.jpg

If, like me, you grew up in the Seventies, I doubt that you look back on the clothes you wore with any great fondness: scratchy synthetics, ultra-wide flares, and too much brown matched with yellow are my predominant memories.

So how is it that Seventies design is back in vogue? I don't know, life's a strange thing, but maybe it's just that we learned our lessons and now we can do it all the same, only better.

Take Danish company Katvig, for example. Their entire range ("for modern kids of fashion-conscious parents") is based on an old Seventies bedspread they found in the attic. And I love it. Yep, strangely, it's not bringing back bad memories at all.
