What’s the phrase? Make a virtue out of necessity? In other words, if your kids are always leaving toys all over their bedroom floor, you might as well sigh, and buy a product that at least makes it look deliberate.

A carpet that is meant to be played on does at least work with a child’s propensities rather than against them. And unlike some of those garish roadmap rugs, this one is at least a restful shade of green, so has half a hope of fitting in with your overall colour scheme.

The goals are detachable; they and the hand-puppet players are stashed away in an accompanying box. So, there: at least you’re not totally giving up on the idea of putting things away.
