Hable Construction Christmas stockings

It just may be a tad early for this, but time seems to be flying and with Thanksgiving around the corner, you know lengthy letters to Santa are next....I love these sweet, albeit pricey ($96), Christmas stockings from Hable Construction. This multi-faceted company, the brainchild of two Texan sisters living in New York, is known for its quirky, fresh designs culled from illustrations by Susan Hable. They've carried the wool felt appliqued stockings pretty much since their beginnings in Nolita and I find them to be a lovely addtion to any mantel. Kids will enjoy picking out a design that best suits them and use their stockings year after year.
