Laura McCafferty greeting cards

I am really taken with the work of Nottingham-based illustrator Laura McCafferty and am especially smitten with the results of her first foray into the greeting card medium, as evidenced by the lovely collection of cards for arty company The Little Dog Really Likes. Her new Joy Collection showcases the magical, intimate moments that parents and their children share once alone with one another and in various scenarios, like a leisurely walk with baby in a stroller, a cuddle with dad, an outing with the grandparents, homey chores, . . . that kind of thing. These cards are so original in what they depict and are illustrated in such a beautiful way, they’d make anyone receiving them fall in love all over again with childhood and parenting. I’d send them out to friends and family with a photo of the kids or a newborn baby just to make them smile widely.
