The Bug Life Table has all the fun of sand, without the cleanup

I saw a product similar to this at our local library and it enthralled Ivy while we were there. I knew I had to find one for sale and after a little bit of digging I found the Magnetic Sand Bug Life Table. I like this table more than the first one we saw. Man, I love the Internet.

The nifty thing about these tables is that multiple kids can play with the bugs, moving them around and making up stories with the magnets under the table. They get to enjoy the fun that comes with playing with sand without the cleanup that's normally associated with it. If that's not the best of both worlds, then I don't know what is.

Plus, ever since we started the backyard garden in the spring, the kids have been so interested in bugs and how they live that this would make a good excuse for us to get comfortable with our many-legged friends and open the door for later learning. Bugs are our friends!
