Twisted Twee - the name says it all

Posh Pantlets

I simply do not know where to begin with Twisted Twee: the site is so jam-packed with hilarious and desirable things that it's almost impossible to single out just a few for recommendation.

Let's start with the Posh Pantlets, though, because it was on the trail of these that I came across the site in the first place. These rather attractive vest and pant sets (the pants go over nappies, hiding that unappealing saggy look) come in a variety of designs, including the gorgeous style shown above.

Then there are the 'Equal Opportunities baby-gros' (above). Undermine society's prejudices in such a subtle way, people won't even realise you're doing it! Or go for a tea-towel which, at first sight, looks as if it's a beautiful alphabet wall-hanging. Only when you get up close do you realise that it's an adult alphabet, where 'A' is for 'ashtray' and 'B' is for 'beer'.

My absolute favourites, though, are these merit badges (below). If you were ever a Boy Scout or a Girl Guide, you'll understand the concept.

It seems to me that Suzi Warren, the mind behind all these products, is an evil genius. And I, for one, am impressed. Anything that keeps us parents smiling has got to be worth applauding.
